Well, this vet told Hal it was way stronger than PCN. I knew better, but kept my mouth shut. It's the same thing JB gave Faith after he sewed her leg up, but it was more preventative than anything. BUT, this is not the same BUG that the others had because he is not coughing and the snot is yellow instead of green and not as globby. (Is that a word?) He had it when we brought him home from being exposed at sales. I bleached the buckets he had eaten out of yesterday so the others can go back in the barn. I hope it doesn't spread.
It did not do much for jake eitehr, but then with him it may have just been more supportive to prevent infection from the COPD. I am going to try the Auromycin this year on him. He would not eat the sulpha powder well, we had to mix it with Calf Manna.
