Vet. It’s prescription only. In fact, because it’s prescription, they won’t usually give it for a dog they haven’t seen and treated recently, but given the circumstance and the reason you want it, I’d think you could get a vet on board with the idea, you just have to explain the situation and the difficulty you and they will have in handling her otherwise.

Acepromazine is the full name. I’d go to one of the vets who knows you pretty well and talk to them... not the front desk gals, but the vet.

The vet I’m taking her to is the one that treated her a few years ago, and the one I’ve used for all the dogs the last few years.

I’ll stop today when I’m in town and talk to him...the gal at the front desk is his wife, they know me.
