Let us know how the horse does if you hear okay? I’ve always thought like you, that the twisted gut was a death sentence. Did they explain how the running worked? Did it make the gut untwist? I guess it must have.
How goes things with you?
I’m assuming that since the horse is not colicky anymore the gut did untwist. I can only guess that all the shaking and jarring from the running did it.
My thoughts about it was: I’d find it hard to make a horse who would have been at that level of pain work that hard, altho I guess if she was medicated enough she wasn’t feeling the pain. And two, I’d wonder, and only time will tell, if she isn’t going to be prone to this now.
Things are going for me as well as can be expected I guess. One day at a time.
