It's 52 right now, which is about 10 degrees warmer than we've had for an overnight temperature, but the news media is treating this heat wave like a major threat to life. Telling us how to stay cool, and to not just go jump in a river to cool off because it's snow runoff and it's very cold!

Well, you know, there are always idiots, but then, they are going to do stupid stuff even with repeated warnings.

Just like here when we had all the flash flooding. I sat and watched several cars drive thru the flooding creek that even in a truck I was going to go thru, even after seeing them make it. Part of me couldn’t believe they were trying, but part of me wasn’t really surprised.

I’d imagine there are going to be some deaths or near deaths from people doing exactly what this article is saying not to do.
