That’s quite a hair-do on those chicks in the third pic. Looks like they stuck their fingers in a wall socket.

Those are the crested ones. They will have a plume of feathers on top of their heads. Some have feathers down their legs, too. They are changing from chick fluff to chicken feathers and, yeah, some are pretty ugly.

The ducks looking for supper. They waddle from the pond to the barn 2 times a day and back to eat. It's a long way and they have a path.
