Frog great pictures. The butterflies are beautiful. Are they migrating or something? We had to have our horses step up on a rock like that one time at a ride, back when I was riding Belle. She didn’t do it. But every horse I’ve had since then has learned to do that.

Hair, congratulations on the ride:) You’re getting an early start this year. Looks like you all have had some flooding. Is that the creek we crossed. I don’t remember a bridge?

Duchess, vertical blinds can get a bit grungy, but nearly as bad as horizontal. Mine have turned a bit yellow, but I still like them too.

Actually I was noticing that last year we actually got out April 4th. We're late!

But yeah, that's where we crossed... and we usually do cross the creek there because it's one of the only places we can cross in the water. If you look at the picture of you and ecurbh in the creek from saddle moot, the bridge would have been upstream left.

So we didn't really ~need~ that bridge, but the hikers and bikers would, unless they want to get their feet wet. Maybe that's why the trailhead was empty. :~)

My blinds generally have a half inch of dust on them. They are all either wood or metal so I haven’t had a problem with the sun so far, my white plastic ones just fell apart with the sun and dryness. But, I sure wished I’d thought of vertical.

I can't take credit for the pictures, HaveFaith took them. I forgot my camera. {smacks self in the forehead}

I thought the one of the butterflies was exceptionally good. The place where they were swarming looked like an old campfire site, but they're must've been something sweet there because there were honey bees swarming it too. Maybe somebody used Coke or something to put out their campfire. There's at least 3 different kinds there. There were common black swallowtails and yellow tiger swallowtails, but there were also some smaller black and white swallowtails. The only place I've ever seen them is out in the Forest. It looked like a butterfly bouquet.
