Reminds of a time at a ride when we were told to do an offside mount for the judges. I hadn’t practiced much on offside mounts, and I also get very flustered in front of judges. I had made about 3 attempts when the judges secertary said, “your putting the wrong foot in the stirrup”. The judge said, “I wish y ou hadn’t told her, I wanted to see what would happen when she found herself sitting backwards:)” The funny thing was, after the laughing, and I tried again, I still kept putting the wrong foot in. I finally had to pass:)
