Do you tell her to watch her feet? I do with Bay... I look for roots and rocks and say “pick up your feet!” and goose him a little if he’s stargazing.

But you know... tripping was a symptom of Bay’s Navicular.. he tripped and fell on trail and that started us looking more closely at his soundness... it might be lots of things, even showing that could be better... Do you think it’s a soundness/weakness, or is she just not paying attention?

My friend has an Arab gelding and he does the same thing. She said a lot of them do trip alot. Maybe its a desert thing.. :) Mostly, she is gawking around or getting in a big hurry. The trails in the woods are not the best cleared and the 4-wheeler ruts don’t help either on other parts.
