Boring stuff. A new black hunt jacket and a show shirt, as well as a square dressage pad. I had ordered some stuff from Dover, but I was paranoid that it wouldn't come in time for the show next Sunday, so that's why I bought the pad. I met the mailman on the way down the driveway when I came home. :-p Whoops.
What I do need though, is a couple of smaller all purpose pads and a smaller girth for when I ride Oliver. The girth that I want is this:
Here Levi has one in a 52 with a girth extender, and I would probably need a 42 for Oliver. It's a synthetic girth, and I didn't think that I would like it, but it's thin and light and molds really wall. I need a couple of all purpose pads beacuse Oliver could wear Levi's saddle pads for blankets! The edges of the larger dressage pads come almost under his belly.

Anything new for horses is fun to get:)
I shut the shop down early today and came home. On the way home I decided it would be a good day to clean up my garden. I didn't like the monkey grass I had growing for a border along the sidewalk so I dug it all out, whew...I knew it was going to be a job, but it was a job. I didn't realize how invasive that stuff is. Anyway I got it all done.

It's a bit bare now, but looks more tidy. The monkey grass with that big clump of ornamental grass was just too much grass, but I like the clump:).

Shopping is a cure for just about anything I think.
There must be a tremendous size difference between Levi and Oliver - I would love to see pictures of you standing beside each of them. I'll bet you really have to adjust mentally as you switch horses.
