Well, I made it to town today. We did get enough sleet Sunday night, that yesterday the roads out by me were solid ice. I tried to make it to town, but after it taking 4 tries, and finally just going in the bar ditch to get up one hill, I decided it wasn’t worth it and went back home. I was only about a mile from home. So I spent the entire day yesterday at the house, luckily I had lots of things recorded to watch:)

Hoping everyone else who is experiencing bad weather is surviving OK.

Yikes. You need internet at home again!

Glad you're OK now though, hope you didn't dent your truck.

It's shivery but clear today. 14 degrees! Not a lot of snow still, but we might get more tomorrow. As soon as the sun gets up over the trees and brightens up the pasture, I'm going to go out there and get those horses moving a little. They've been standing in the barn for days.

Farrier warming his hands up between Bay feet yesterday.

Wow, I'm glad to hear you didn't get hurt driving in the ice! And that guy showing up at your house is just downright creepy. I'm glad you've got new locks! Maybe you need to put up one of those signs on your driveway that says “Trespassers will be shot! Survivors will be shot again!” ;o)
