Wow, that sounds exciting about your husband buying the new place, expecially all the facilities and the live-in help. Sounds like heaven to me! I’m hoping that one day you’ll get your love of horses back and maybe living in this place will help.

Oh, yes we rode. Or shall I say we raced around KC’s. Gary and Mar. were packing up to leave so we were gonna go by ourselves. Randy C’s group were abt. to leave and he said we could ride with them. I said we prob. couldn’t keep up. while we were riding by. We got behind 4 gaited horses, but the one in the back had been out on the trail 2 times and today was the 2ond. After she had to get off and lead him down a worn out rocky trail we came to a fork, so we took the other one. It led us straight to Randy’s group and he said just to come on and they’d take it easy. HA! I had Faith’s short shanked bit on Daisy (mistake) because I was too lazy to unbuckle hers from the show bridle. Randy tightened her chin chain once, but I didn’t have much brakes. You know Daisy, she was gonna keep up or bust, so I fought to keep her from cantering all day. Or shall I say 3 1/4 hrs. We probably hit almost every trail there and took us 1/2 as long as usual. I got behind Blade as much as I could because he is careful going down the rocky hills. The other thing was that she was in heat and RC was on Charlie the stud. He knew it, too, because he looked like he had 5 legs most of the day and she was trying her best to get to him. It was fun and I’m glad I got to ride and see Carolyn, but RELAXING it was NOT.
