Where will they be in relation to your new appartment? I know you said it was the former Dr’s office. Did we get to see that part of the building when we were there? I think I remember that Jenny’s shop and the newspaper office were on the opposite side of the building from Mac’s office and the diner, but that’s about the best I can remember.
The building is divided into 3 equal parts, all the same size as Mack’s office, the other two sections has walls that divide them up.
The diner is actually next door on the back side of my building. The center section is where Jenny’s shop and the newspaper are. Then on the other side of the center section is the doc’s office. So the flower shop will be on the other end of the building from me.
I thought I took you all in there to show you all the old equipment the doc left. Maybe that was just Hair tho.
I think it must’ve just been Hair that you took to the Doc’s office. She got there earlier in the week than we did. It’s pitiful that I can’t remember stuff any better than that, no longer than it’s been.
So your appt is going in one half of Mac’s office, what’s going to go in the other half? I know you’ve probably said before, but I can’t remember that either. I guess I’m getting senile in my old age!
LOL...heck I can’t remember what I had for breakfast...I can’t remember anything anymore.
In the other half will be the office for the business, and my garage.

It’s MOWING day... all day I think.
Well.... as soon as I get started. :~)
Well, I don’t envy you. I hope to heck it’s cooler there than it is here. We’ve been in the mid-90’s for over a week and the humidity has just been awful too. The horses stand around every evening and almost beg me to spray them with the hose while I’m refilling the trough. Between the 5 of them, they’re making a sizable dent in a 150 gallon tank of water nearly every day and if you run your hand over their bodies they feel like they’ve got plaster of paris sprayed on them, but it’s just salt deposits. I’m really pouring the salt to them too. We’re supposed to get a “cool” front coming through tonight so the temps should drop down in to the low 80’s by the weekend. Brrrrrrr! ;o)
HaveFaith, BladeRider and I are supposed to be going on an organized ride tomorrow with a mounted ministries group up in TN, but I think we’re going to get rained out so we may just get together and have a shopping trip up to the Mennonites instead. I’ve been wanting to go to this harnessmaker’s shop who works in Biothane and see if he can make me a spare breast collar like the one I’ve got. I may see about getting a smaller western girth made than I’ve been able to find in any of the catalogs too, plus I need some more odds and ends like snaps and straps and stuff and they’re much cheaper up there. BladeRider’s been wanting some new saddle bags and I think HaveFaith’s been needing some new horse blankets, so we may just make a day of it. It doesn’t matter if it’s raining when you’re shopping!
Yes, it’s cooler here... sunny and about 70. About perfect! :~)
We may go riding tomorrow, if we can get our momentum up!

70’s sounds heavenly. We’re just barely getting down into 70’s at night. So get that momentum up and get it to riding!
I saw where SedonaThunder may take one of the kittens. Think it’ll ever happen?
I dunno. I wish she’d take two... one will be so lonely if she does end up putting them out in the barn. At least when they’re little they like having a buddy.
Duchess...we have babies coming any day. Will the stud attack and kill them? He’s an excellent mannered guy, safe sane.
Boy - I don’t know. Is he pasture breeding and in the pasture with the mares all the time? If so, I would think he’ll be fine and will help protect the babies. That’s generally the behavior of stallions who are pastured with the mares.
We've had waxing/dripping the last couple days. My horse dealer friend said to 'let them go', the Lord knows how to take care of them. LOL...But I'm a worrywart.
I've waited YEARS to have babies and it's worse than when I was preggo.
Good luck :) If you’re concerned about a maiden mare or something, just pull the mare up to the barn until she foals.
Well, tonight we sold BamBam - I guess on of the first things the lady will do when she takes her home is change her name :) reminds her of the Flintstones. She’s a very nice lady though and talks to horses.
She’ll be boarding her here for about a month so that she gets back into riding and BamBam is comfortable with her. So, one down, eight more to go.
Well, congratulations, glad she’s a nice lady... but what’s wrong with the Flintstones? :~)
I bet it grows on her and she doesn’t change it. :~)
I hope so, BamBam likes her name :) Surprisingly, she really likes the lady too. Thank you God.
Congratulations:)

Woke up to a cop parked in my driveway and other cops walking around the store on foot.
Went out there and gave the universal hand shrug for “what’s up?” One comes over and asks if I saw anyone run through. I said no. He said they’re looking for a fugitive that they think ran in the store, who had a stolen car.
He says I should probably go back in the house, but then he tells me he hurt something like a metal sound, like a gate, in the barn. Well, all three horses were out in the pasture so there shouldn’t be anything in the barn.
I asked them if they wanted to go clear it, and they did, just for shts and giggles. They didn’t think the guy came that way, but they couldn’t find him in the store, they’d searched it! They were dumfounded as to where the guy went. They went back out the gate.
A few minutes later I hear this “Get your hands up!” and I see him release a dog, and they all go running, and I turn to ecurbh and say, this is a bit of a dangerous situation! But they all went in the store, I guess the guy was up in the rafters!
Whoa...!!! Was the store open?
I’m glad they got the guy.
