Or the cats...
He was just goin’ to ground!
He is a perimeter checker... the little bastage. So far so good. Got zapped by the hot wire across the bottom at the back gate... ARP! HA!
The good news is he’s not a little beagle. He’s a tank. Did I tell you he weighs 47 pounds? Probably should weigh 42. He’s not a little lap poodle. And he’s too big to fit through the field fence in the back. I think. He’d at least get high centered in it.
BWAAAAAA HAAAAAA HAAAAA!!!!
DANG! He IS pretty darned big for a beagle. I think about beagles as being 30-some-odd pound dogs.
He’s no taller than Zulu who weighed 20. But he’s on a huge frame. His feet are huge... I’ll see if I can take some pics that show.
Have you had any more problem with him pesterin’ the cats or have they pretty much put him in his place?
I finally got my pictures posted over there, took like 3 tries:)...time for a beer, I got frustrated:)
Timed me out the first time, then I kept getting phone calls and people talking to me, and I hit the wrong button and deleted it uurrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......
But it’s done. I’m heading to town now, and will take a look down there at all the others and yours that have been posted.

Speaking of cats, has anyone seen the videocam on CNN or MSNBC about the lady in Europe that lives in a 2 bedroom apartmetn with 130 cats? It shows her feeding them and it looks like when you feed fish, they are all jumping up and down. Pretty funny.
The problems with the cats are not his... he ignores them if they just walk around... He ignores Pippin. Tweek still occasionally freaks out on him then runs, so of course he wants to chase.
I saw them.... great pictures! I think that butterfly picture is stunning!
Yeah, I saw that, but the funniest part about it was the SOUND. It was incredible. All the yowling and howling was pretty well expected, but the sound of all those feet bouncing off the floor was just hysterical. It was like watching a bowl of popcorn pop.
Here's Barkley... This doesn't show really what a tank he is... but if you can tell, his legs and feet are bigger than Homer's.
Here's his foot.
Oh brother... ;~)
That foot almost looks like a Bassett’s foot, but he doesn’t have the short legs/long body to go with it. Maybe he’s got some American Fox Hound in there somewhere. His chest is almost as broad as Homer’s too.
Yeah he looks part Bassett.
That’s how the Bassett lady ended up with him. The shelter said he was half Bassett. She got him home and decided he’s not. He’s all Beagle, just really big boned.
OHHH, what a cute picture:)
Shoot I did not realize till just now when I read thru the entire thread, this was not the “offical” photo contest:(. Oh well, it’s still fun to post pictures in a contest.

Well, I had some conversation with Personal Champ about that in PM... the OP of that thread is sortof a loose cannon. She very much wants to run the show. She wasn’t supposed to do it yet, they didn’t have approval yet for prizes.. but they might still. I don’t know.
I can bring it with me when I come to Oklahoma! :~)
And this one in Baby Horse...
And this one in Baby Horse...even tho she's really not a horse...
Oh, really. Well what happens if they have another contest, can we enter these pictures?
