They're like buckskin horses :~)
Yeah, I remember you mentioning that over on HH. Is he neutered or can you get close enough to tell?
I don’t even really know it’s a he.
I just think she/he’s someone’s pet because he doesn’t run away with the same fear the wild ones do, he’s just skittish. He stops and looks when I call “kitty kitty”.
Now that it’s getting to where it’s warm enough to sit on the porch and wait awhile, I might be able to get close. They all disappear during the day, because the dogs are in and out and around.
He looks like a mitted Ragdoll, except the hair is not as long. They are really docile cats.

Shivery. Hard to believe you had 70s earlier in the week.
It was nearly 70 yesterday morning!

Weird! Your grass isn’t fooled yet, I see... not even starting to turn green yet.
We’re havin’ rain today... but I won’t complain.
This is just right around the bend from those big stair steps I've shown y'all before...
We went exploring a couple of new "hollers" this time. This type of cliff shelter/waterfall are at the end of just about all of them. This one looks a lot like the one we poked around in last weekend. You can see the little waterfall just to the left of that old dead snag sticking up in the middle of the picture..
And this was a different one. We had to park the horses up on top because it was too steep to get them down into. It was just about too steep for us too!
This was a double-decker waterfall, one of two that were in this cove.
You can see Shirley and Doc at the top and the other waterfall lower down on the right...
Kari at the bottom of the waterfall shown in the previous picture. She looks like she's standing right under it but she was probably 20 or 25 feet in front. It had a pool at it's base so she was standing on top of a boulder farther down and I was standing on a boulder farther down still...
And here's some links to some a couple of video clips I took while we were in there...
Good! I'd rather have snow any day than freezing rain! Looks like the horses are doing the smart thing and staying in, all nice and dry.
Bermuda grass doesn't even think about greening up until the nighttime temps stay above 60 for a pretty good while. We've got a lot of it around here too.
I love your cliffs! I really do! Very cool, thanks!
I have to admit something though... when I first saw the pictures of Kari I thought she didn’t have any pants on! It’s just the color of them breeches I think! ~ducking~
Ah - it’s pickier than our grass then. Ours is green, but stays dormant till the night-time temps stay above 50 or so.
Yeah, they do look a bit flesh-toned in the pictures don’t they. They were more orange-looking in person.
LOL!! But I’m sure it was a contented sigh.
That dog really fell into a cushy job when he showed up at your place!
It was the one where she’s climbing down that I first thought it: “She’s not wearing any pants!” ;~)
She’s gonna flame me ain’t she? :~) I don’t know her well enough to give her a hard time.
He’s got it pretty good I think. It was a little rocky till he and Gidget sorted things out, but I think he’s very well at home now.
It’d be a little rough on the old Be-hind riding without no pants. He11, I can’t even stand to ride in shorts, but I’ve seen other people do it. My legs get galled bad enough in the summertime WITH long pants on so I shutter to think what would happen otherwise.
Well, yeah - not to mention the stirrup leathers tend to pinch... ;~)
