"And speaking of grace, check out this video of BladeRider finding a hole at the cliff shelter."
It was between the last picture of of Bob jumping over the log and the picture of you and Faith in front of the cliff. If you'll notice, the word "this" in that sentence is highlighted and underlined, and that's how you know that it's a link. If you click on it it'll take you to the video. Don't worry, you'll figure out all this crap the longer you're here.
Windy here too, and getting colder. Dang, I’m ready for Spring!
Oh, and you and Kari might have fun talking coz she’s a nurse too. She’s got her own practice and is the one that cut that wicked splinter outta my foot last year. Isn’t SquareBarb a nurse too? Seems like there’s more, but I can’t remember who else.
Well, here's the only one you got that was close...
I had been bending over and rubbing both butt cheeks with my hands but by the time you snapped the pic I had straightened up and part way turned around because I was afraid I was fixing to catch my @$$ on fire. That fire was kinda high and the wind was blowing and sparks were flying and I had on nylon pants, and as someone mentioned, having to run and put my butt out in that cold creek would NOT have been fun, at least not to me. I'm sure everyone else would have LOVED it! ;o)
Good job on getting the new camera! Now you’ve got no excuses to not post pics of your horsey adventures! I look forward to seeing ol’ Chester. He sounds like a cutie!
That’s the one I was thinking of. Thanks for asking me on. I will probably lurk for awhile and figure out who everone is. I found the fall link after looking back. Glad to know there are more nurses around.
Ours has 20K, so I don’t know how many x’s the oil’s been changed. It sits unless we have to pull something anymore.
Threats are made to sell it all the time, but as long as we pull horses it’ll stay. It’ll have to have new paws soon, due to heavy use.
Sweet lord, 3 gallons? Yikes. What do you have, a monster truck?
My husband bought me a 4 door dodge ram about a month. His and her trucks (rolling eyes). The convience store cuts of at 65 dollars. I almost cry each week.
Hi, Nurse Faith.
Chester a roamer?
Damn that's a big truck ;~)
Good evening - hope Chester shows up soon.
Hope he shows up soon Beaker. He needs to settle down and give up the roaming life.
Just your typical 3 quarter ton 4x4 Dodge diesel truck. I really picked a great to buy one didn't I, right before fuel went up to $3.60 a gallon!
Doesn't that just burn your @$$!! I mean he11, $65 just barely gets me a half a tank! They must've set those cut-offs back when gas was 99 cents a gallon. You'd think they'd have changed them by now.
I almost cry each week...
I ain't cryin', I'm cussin!
LOL!! Seems like I kinda remember you saying that...like every time you had to hoist yourself up in it.
Beaker, Hope your cat shows up soon.
Good morning. I’ve been busy the last few days.
I did call the guy that looked at Harley and he is still considering him, and says he is the best of the bunch he has looked at, but has one more to look at this weekend then will call me. I called to find out about what to do about the body clipping, and went ahead and held off on doing that. Altho the guy said he did not mind having to blanket one, they blanket their other one all the time. Unfortunately he said they even leave them on when it gets warm thru the day, if they are going to need them at night....That’s what I dislike about blanketing...they are a pain in the butt to take on and take off, but IMO, it’s just as bad to leave one one when it is too hot, as it is to leave one off if the horse needs it. But I guess, horses probably don’t die very often from having a blanket left on:). I just don’t get it....it’s so much easier to just not blanket ever.In our climate it just really isn’t necessary to blanket, especially if the horses have shelter, which his do.
I do understand tho, that in wet/cold climates it may be necessary more often:)...so one get offended by my opinion:)
Welcome to the thread HF:)
I also got a job yesterday. I really don’t have to work, but I have always wanted to be a cashier at a Walmart store:). I don’t know why, but it’s something I’ve always thought would be interesting. Mack never wanted me to work, because he said it would put him in a higher tax bracket:), I think he just liked me being at his beck and call:D, Anyway, I was interviewed yesterday, and went and got the drug test run. As soon as they get the results of that, and I pass:), they will call and tell me when to come in and work. I’m rather excited..and looking forward to having something to do with my days.
Becky
