Hi everyone. I hope that everyone is having a good weekend.
I may be taking a break from the barn for a while. I no longer feel that it's a place where I can go and relax and not have to worry about anything. Attitudes have shifted, and lately I've been harassed by the whole group for little things. The new thing is that they all think that I have to have a new car. (My current car is rear wheel drive, and not an ideal car for New England winters) That's the only thing really "wrong" with it. However, that's just not feasible right now, and the nagging gets me really stressed out.
To: Beaker
I’m sorry to hear that. Just tell them you have chains :) and if that doesn’t suffice, you’re open to a new front-wheel drive car as a gift.

Well, heh, those were my thoughts. :-) It makes me sad, though, because I really care about and respect everyone. I refer to situations like this as "Too much estrogen, and not enough room". They're all like a bunch of cranky horses. :-p

Cabin fever :) Good luck.

Don’t know about estrogen fumes but the testosterone level gets so thick around here sometimes, that it can bring tears to your eyes:’).
To: CindyDawg
I resemble that remark.................lol
Well, Christmas is over and the hubby is up in Ohio doing black powder and I finally have some time to myself.
My new horse (the gift horse) is great other than the fact that he keeps pooping in his water bucket. We moved the
bucket and placed his hay under it and that stopped. Tonight I went to feed him and Waylon, and threw the beet pulp in his feed bucket and guess what? He pooped in the feed bucket #%$@@%^&* I think the stall is too small for him. It is 10x12 and he is a big horse.
Waylon on the other hand is like a dog.....he goes out in the paddock to do his business and his stall is clean as can be.
I love it here in SC and can’t wait to explore a little more. I LOVE not working. House is all put together and now I am going to have some FUN. Will send pictures soon....still not sure how to post.
I wish a very Happy and prosperous New Year to all my Saddle Club friends.

Lol. I would love to see pictures. Happy New Year or as we say around here, Feliz Anos Neuvo.
To: estrogen; CindyDawg
Happy New Year to both of you. Waiting for pictures.

I LOVE not working. It is the greatest thing! Gosh, I love it too. There are so many things to keep me busy, I don't know, how I ever had time to work.
To: freekitty
Happy New Year to you also.
Beautiful pictures!
To: Beaker
...I no longer feel that it's a place where I can go and relax and not have to worry about anything... I sure am sorry that Beaker! Sometimes the best thing to do is to just say "Bite my @$$!!", in a joking but not-so-joking way. Maybe then they'll realize how bitchy they're being and back off. But don't let them run you away from something you love, just hang in there and tune them out. Go at times when there are less of them there for a while if you have to. Hopefully it's just a foul-weather funk that everybody's in and it'll lighten up when the weather improves.

Good to hear from you estrogen! I’m glad that everything is settling down and that you’re enjoying it there. I’d love to see pics of the new horse, the new house and the new barn. Just upload them to Snapfish first and we can help you with posting them from there.

Once in a blue moon Bay will poop in his feed or water bucket. I don't know why or when, but I always assume it's personal ;~)
Not much horsey to report here either! Haven't even been on the computer much. Got brother here visiting and yesterday we went to Cabella's. The place is gorgeous... like a hunting and camping amusement park ;~)

I liked this hat :~)
To: HairOfTheDog
WOW!!! That place is incredible!!! I could spend a whole day in there just oggling the displays.
Oh, and ecurbh, LOVE the hat! It has such a NanookOfTheNorth air about it. Just don't get too close to any amorous wolves while wearing it or there liable to have their way with you. ;o)

Ooops - one of those pictures was supposed to be this one, of a Lynx.
To: HairOfTheDog
WOW, that’s a cool pose! I’ve never seen one like it before. But he kinda looks like my little buddy Bear, so I kinda feel bad that he’s standing there stuffed instead of stuffing his face like TheBear does.
