Hello all! We are back from our trail ride and we did take enough pictures today to make up for the last two :~)

Here I am lunging Rocky, who hadn't been lunged in years and misbehaved enough that Becky was a little worried I think ;~) He settled down a bit eventually though, and was good as gold under saddle.

And here's MissTargets trying out Dot in the arena.

Pretty gusty, but overall, not too bad. Haven't seen any power fluctuations since I got home, so I decided to risk turning the computer on.

Yes, they got here just fine right before it got dark. So the horses had some daylight to check out the arena, get feed. I’m so glad they made the trip fine.

We came in to eat a sandwich, and are now sitting around the table eating and telling stories:)

Hey y’all, Frog here! Just thought I’d say hi. We had a good drive over yesterday. didn’t get rained on much at all. We must’ve just slipped through a gap in the storms because by the time it was daylight the clouds were pretty much breaking up. We stopped in West Memphis, AR and fueled up, then stopped just outside of Little Rock at a KFC and had lunch and gave the horses some hay and water and then stopped just across the OK state line and fueled up again and called Big Mack to let him know that we were close so he could track down Becky and Hair and MT because we were a good bit earlier than we had expected. From gate to gate it took us about 12 hours counting the stops and a lunch break. That’s not bad.

We had a really nice evening visiting after we got here. It was just like we were online talking only we were all in the same place. I think the plan for today is to take a short ride, then go into town to Becky’s building and hang around and talk to the newspaper lady.

well, I’m gonna go see about the horses and give them a little hay and see what I can get into. Talk to y’all later.
