That dog looks right at home :)
Anyway, right now Snapfish is not letting me download the pictures - I get the red circle with the slash and failed. I have no idea why but since it's the first time it's ever happened, I imagine it will load fine a little later.
I had that trouble with snapfish a couple weeks back. Sometimes it would say it failed but later on it was there. Then it just started working. Not sure what it was.
Congratulations on Tuffy! I look forward to seeing all the pics!
Krista riding Dusty Rose the other day for the lady that is buying her - it was still on the camera.
And the Air Show - it was hard to watch the classes sometimes, since the planes were so cool - and loud. They didn't bother any of the horses though.
Bob took several pictures with his 35mm camera. My camera just doesn’t zoom well enough to get good pictures in the ring. And I have to admit, I spent a good bit of time gossiping when Kelly was out of the ring, rather than taking pictures of her.
Dusty Rose is a good looking mare too. Nice and stocky.
I have problems with Snapfish when I want to log off.
Long story, I will fill you in next month.
Fair enough! :~)
He does look all grown up in jewel tones :~)
He looks terrific. The airshow is an unusual background for a horse show!
When you get the other pictures back, I hope you’ll post em!
Dusty isn't very big, just 14.3, but she's sure worth her weight in gold.
I never log off of snapfish, maybe that's part of my problem tonight. I've never had that happen before.
I will post some of the other pictures when they are developed. Bob got one of Kelly’s daughter - 13yr old, riding Tuffy. She was warming him up out in the parking area while her mom was getting dressed.
Bump to find yall:’)
I have cable this morning, but can't seem to get my email. My neighbor was out also this weekend. and she called for service. Our phone lines are not any better here, or I would get rid of the cable.
It looks like we might have had some frost last night. Might be just heavy dew. I did pull my tomato plants on Friday. They were getting rather poor.
On another subject, another horsey friend of mine sent me a link to some pics she took back in August at the World Grand Championship Saddlebred show and I thought I'd share 'em. This pic of the Roadster Pony just blew me away. I think your Pony was MADE for this kinda thing...
The link to the rest of the pics is here.
That pup is adorable MT! I sure am glad you rescued him coz I feel like he would’ve eventually gotten run over or ended up in the pound if you hadn’t. Looks like he’s got a great home now!
Tuffy looks gorgeous as usual, and Dusty Rose looks like a sweetheart. The air show pics were cool too. I thought I’d heard they’d had a couple of crashed at it though and cancelled some of it. Is that right?
This is PURELY personal preference, but I don't like the black and red on him, think it clashes with the sorrel. Have you tried a dark hunter green (95th Rifles green)? Maybe picked out with a few accents of reddish gold? When I rode a bright chestnut gelding, I showed him in a dark green jacket. It looked pretty sharp. (These days, Gracie and I ride all in black. We look like a funeral.)
BTW, the tail looks just WRONG on Tuffy. Too much of a muchness. Maybe if she insists on a fake tail, she could get one with less of a “big hair” look? My mare has a tail that flows to the ground, but it’s not as full as that fake tail.
Hey! Who hitched up Pony?
More important, which of us would be the first to step into the cart! :~D
Great pic... I think that's definitely what she is bred to do!
