Heh... I think that’s really fun! I’d set it on the tabel when company came over, without explanation! Tell them it’s a new variety.

So did Hurricane Umberto wet you down much? We’re fixing to get the remains of it up here. I’m glad too coz we need the rain bad.

That would be funny to see their reaction when they first saw it.
You find out all kinds of strange things when you visit the gardening forums. On the same thread I found out that you can grow pears in wine bottles too. They were giving them as novelty gifts to their friends. Now who’da ever thunk it?

No we sent him your way. I’m still watching him though because the models have him turning back to the Gulf and one has him looping directly here.
To: CindyDawg
Interesting! I’ve never heard of one looping back around. Usually when they come over us they continue on over the Carolinas and Virginia a day or so later.

Yeah, I found it...good lord, the woman is a loon, a scary loon. I’m glad I quit responding to her long ago.

Yeah, I found it too. They’re a strange bunch over there. Waaaaay too much drama. You’d think she could just ignore the other person rather than just stomping off in a snit.

That sounds like a good idea. Velllllly Smaaaaaaat!
Or as we say around here, "Wicked Smaaht"
I haven't been on the thread much. Things have been kind of nutty. Everything is gawd awful at work, and this whole lyme thing is kicking my butt. My blood tests keeping coming back positive for lyme, and they keep slamming me with A/Bs. Right now I'm on 1500 mg (not a typo- fifteen hundred) of Amoxicillin a day. If this doesn't work, I don't know what plan C is. Everyone thinks that I'm joking, but I'm pretty sick right now. I don't know if I'm having a relapse or what, but I'm starting to get the whole chills/fever/headache crapola again, and last night I spent huddled under the blankets. I also still have the standard body aches and fatigue.
I still haven't found a job yet either. My second interview went well so I thought (It was another hour and a half one) and when I left I didn't have a definitive answer. Just that I was a strong candidate and that I should keep in touch with them. *shrug* so at this point I'm still looking, and it's still up in the air as to whether I can go or not.

Well, except for Beaker, we're all a buncha 40+ women, who's idea of a big night out on the town is to go have a burger and a beer, so how much trouble could we possibly get into? ;o)
Actually, that's my idea of a big night on the town too, so we should all get along just fine! :-D
