Kristy found homes for the kitties. Two will go to one place and the other two to another, so that will be good for them.
I went to the bowling league meeting last night. Whoa...some of the members are going to be very competitive:) Serious business...LOL. We are there for fun. I bought a ball, bag and shoes. My ball is very pretty, red, gold, and black,LOL I was looking more for pretty, then anything:) I’m going to meet my brother and his lady to practice with it this weekend sometime. Dan got a new ball too, and wants to try it before the league starts. I think this is going to fun. The session lasts all winter.
I was watching a bit of the Olympics last night, and caught some of the horse events. I heard the commentator say that 3 of the top competitors were disqualified because of illegal steroids in their horses. Thought that was interesting.
Really? I hadn’t seen that. We watched some of the eventing but have missed everything else.
Good morning! The bowling sounds like fun. :~)
Oh - and good news on the kitten homes! Glad they’re going in pairs. Kittens are best in pairs :~)
Glad you are having fun. Be very careful. GPS’s are great.
How long will you be there? How’s the job search?
Talullah learned how to sit watching her mom before I got her and nobody knew she knew what it meant. I just told her to do it when I was passing out bites of something to the crew and she did it instantly. She fetches after playing with her twice. I am working on stay now, in bits and pieces, ‘cause we don’t tend to sit still very long ourselves. She works on the leash, but it’s hard ‘cause she walks behind either me or Hal and not at your side like a normal dog. Natural heeling, I guess. Probably wouldn’t even need a leash except for rules. My horse whirls and stomps with her front feet at her. I think maybe they are jealous of each other.
I hope it wasn’t the American’s.
Bowling is fun and a great way to socialize. Hope you keep enjoying it. It’s not bad exercise, either.
Well, we had a quiet night. The kittens back in the bedroom were quieter, and I think they really were quieter. I looked in on them a couple times in the night and they seemed to be quiet. I think if they’d really yowled we’d have heard it. So maybe momma has given up and moved on.
We’ve moved them back out here, and they’re back in the middle of things again. A little meowy still, but I’m teaching them that if they meow, they must want more attention from me. :~)
LOL....I can’t imagine any kittens of yours needing more attention:) They are so much fun to watch tho. Kristy left her’s down here last night while they went somewhere, and when I came in from the bowling meeting they were having a great time playing around the drums:)
I don’t think it was Americans.
That might be it, but last night one of the commentators specifically said steroids. Maybe he had it wrong.
That’s all I found in a search.
The Rain Forest exhibit is especially interesting. Amy took the pictures, so I don't have any to post for now.
It is going to be another hot one today, storms coming tomorrow, just in time for the horse show.
Oh no - hope the show doesn’t get stormed on.
The ranch where the show was held had two very large longhorns too.
Here's the page, with videos and everything
Cat Chat! Surprise! Feral barn kittens! - Page 20 - Horse Forums (HGS)
I’ll go check them out. Probably wise not to let them out yet, if they slipped outside you’d never see the orange one again. Have a nice visit with your brother.
What a thrill for Janelle.
Was he a good boy?
My friend, Judy is taking two of hers to the show tomorrow. The solid little gelding that Amy showed before and her 3 yo colored gelding.
