That would be great to get to meet y'all like Frog & Bladerider did.
We rode this AM in Bankhead. There were 9 of us. A famous local horse trainer went with us. He was freaking out because he couldn't get a phone signal and that's how he made his living. I told him I'd put his picture on the internet and that made him feel better. He just said to make sure I spelled his name right. He was pretty cool.
Here he is, the famous Sodie Moses, from Lawrence County, Alabama
The rest of the gang
Me and a new member, Billy, a quarter horse convert
Then we came home and had to fix a water leak where Hal hooked the barns up. Nasty. Nothing like Alabama red mud all over. But it's better than septic tank!
Probably can't see much in the picture, but here's my vette with new tires, and cleaned and shiny:)
If I had my boarding barn up I would. I’d probably make him “work” if you can call it that... I think there might be good demand for him as a stud here yet, while he can... find some skinny young gal to show him a little at local shows so people know he’s here.
But I don’t have my boarding barn up. :~(
That is a sexy car. :~)
Great pics! Big group! Bad part is, you don’t all appear to be facing in the right direction! :~)
You know how men are....
They promised they’d pose in a wider spot in the trail....but we never go there.
Becky,
Beautiful car. Is it ‘84 or so. That’s Hal’s guess. He knows most of them as he’s a 31 yr. GM retiree.
Thanks:), It’s an 87.
Becky, I’m glad you’re keeping the car for awhile.
Hair, you are so right - there would really be a market for Rocky out here, I so wish I could buy him. If only Bob and I were 10 years younger :)
I received a deposit today on our Rocky. He turned 4 months old today. A very nice lady from back east is buying him but he will stay here until about the first of September to be weaned, taught to halter and learn to trailer. He’s a really big boy, I expect him to wow them back there.
Congrats on your Rocky! Slowly by little bit you’re making progress on reducing your herd!
Thanks - made a mistake in the post though. He’ll be here until the end of September at least. My baby might be big but he’s too young to make the trip yet.
That is so cute. I loved watching them. They both have “attitude”!
Heh... Yeah, they both have attitude. Bay just stands there waiting for me to feed while they throw a fit.
The difference between them though, is the pony’s ability to do fancy footwork. Cyn’s such a clutz if she really tries to buck she might just tangle her feet and fall down. :~)
My infrastructure problems continue! Last night my monitor failed - boom. Went dark, never to show light again.
We found a guy across town on craigslist who was giving away an old CRT monitor. We went and got it.
It’s blurry, but hopefully it will get me by till next week.
Great video:)...do you think they were grumpy, or just playing?
When it rains it pours doesn’t it:(
It’s “I want dinner” angst. Cyn’s pawing like “put it right here!”
I’m afraid to use any other devices in the house. :~\
It all depends on what the MRI results are that I had today. I went to the doctors on Tuesday, still in pain and hardly able to walk. He gave me meds and ordered the MRI. Could be a cracked tail bone.
It looks like Jody is going to a new home. Some friends of the kids, would like to have her. She will have a great home with them.
Congratulations on maybe finding a home for Jody. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
