It’s not so bad.
Instead of spacesuits, we do the work from inside a spider-robot. Their multiple arms/legs make hanging on much safer.
It’s like working under a bridge. The tricky part is the magnetic “vacuum cleaner”. You have to keep it clean.
I haven’t worried about spiffing up the exterior, because in a four-year orbit, a little extra solar absorption saves on the heating bill. Cleaning the hull is a low priority task, but still interesting.
The spider robots are surprisingly spacious inside. Being spherical, everything is pretty much within reach in the cabin portion.
Does the spider robot come with a CD player?
