Tragic as this is, it documents the result of inexperience coupled with utter lack of judgement in young drivers. I'm sure both the driver and her parents assumed that their affluence would render them immortal.
For the sake of the rest of us, including our children, I hope text messaging while driving becomes a serious suspended license violation.

I just read this on AOL. I had my 11 year old(almost 12) read it too. I hope it has an impact on her. Terrible tragedy. My son remarked at how pretty they were. What a waste.

You would be amazed how good some people are at text messaging. I know several girls who don’t even look at the screen or keys while typing. And they are better at it then I am looking at the screen.
