$825? Did it "fall of the back of a truck?"
The guy told me he was an IT guy and he got paid with 2 of these from another computer guy for doing some work.
I questioned him many times about this, I found some inconsistencies, in the final synopsis it was brand new and the serial number is legit and it’s registered with mac and it’s as new as if I paid 1299 plus tax instead of 825 cash.
There are a LOT of new in box macs floating around, look on ebay and on craiglist you will see tons of new in box macs. I don’t know what the hell is going on but see for yourself, the guy who listed mine on craigslist asking 900 advertised it as the base version with the lesser processor and smaller hard drive. He said he just used the same ad that he used on the other one. Hence less calls and then I put my charisma to work when I met him and put the whammy on him to get if for 825.
