It has nothing to do with skin color. As one of Italian descent I tend to be dark, too.
Americans tend not to like people who:
-don’t want to work
-steal
-lie
-cheat
-kill
-trespass
-try to turn our country into their sh*thole of a former country
-think we owe them something
-speak a non-English language
