I found it VERY difficult to stay focused online. It was very boring for me to sit and listen to powerpoint presentations online. I just didn’t like that. I prefer in person learning....I don’t know if it’s because of the social part/interaction part, or what. I just really had difficulty staying focused, and I do quite well in school with grades and work completion...but no more online for me.
If someone can do it, I understand it’s much more convenient...that part I did like.
Good luck to you (and your daughter) face....hope she does well and sticks with it (you too).
It will probably be the end of summer before I know about school, so I’m not even going to surmise what it will be like.
I think you’re right about the social interaction of the classroom. I’ve always liked the atmosphere, and usually come out with a 4.0, as I see the class as “competition.”
I don’t know how this is going to be, and my daughter is so busy with work and family and school that I haven’t had time to ask her how she’s doing.
There have been a couple of classes I’ve had that were presented by boring people, but I still got over the boredom in the books! LOL!
