Coming along ... I’ve got the garlic roasted, potatoes peeled and ready to boil, and some mushrooms cleaned. Der Prinz took the older boys to the pool. Elen and Sally are out playing; one of the neighbors has some stepchildren here for the summer, so they’ve got new friends.
You’ll like this: Tom was supposed to run the 5K this morning in under 40 minutes, but he was a minute or so over. He said he stopped for a while to look at a snake, which he was sure was a baby copperhead!
Wunderbar, baby copperhead.
Did he at least give it healthy breathing space?
The late Buddy Hackett told this story:
He was playing a golf course out West. It was a challenging course, with many gullies and ravines. Unfortunately, one of his shots disappeared into the depths of one such tangle.
Buddy headed after his ball.
"You'll want this." His caddy said, handing him a five-iron.
"How can I know what club to use when I haven't seen the ball?" Hackett protested.
"It doesn't matter." Replied the caddy, "It's for the snakes."
.
Buddy decided to take the penalty and use a new ball.
let me know if there are any leftovers...I’ll be over as soon as the fireworks are done...;o]
