“Bluetooth” is the device that attaches to the ear, yes.

Studies have shown that drivers are nearly as distracted by a hand’s-free device as they are by a handheld one. Something about talking on the phone (more than talking to a person in the car) takes a driver’s attention off the situation at hand.

Actually, Bluetooth is the name of the wireless communications used between the handset and earpiece. (Just like WiFi is another wireless technology.)

Just a drive-by before heading to church.
