Take the heat as an opportunity....now you can re-calibrate your appreciation for the mild wet climate you normally have.

Oh, it's spot-on calibrated, believe me! The big problem will be camping in Lassen National Park in 2-1/2 weeks. It's really dry there, along with hot.

I rode (my bicycle) over Mt. Lassen in August of ‘93....Snow covered...nearly froze. Of course it was plenty warm down the mountain.
