A sauna?
Saunas are humid.
I hate saunas.
I can’t breath in a sauna.
It is a fun word to type, however.

Wife to Karsh Kentu, King of the Realm, bearer and apparent master of the Shadowed Throne. And, in the end of it all, breaker of his heart. From what story is this?
To: nicmarlo
One I have been playing at writing since 2000.
I’ve posted snippets and snatches of ideas from it here and there.

In paper form, it’s been around since 1998 or so as I’d started writing it longhand.

*relieved sigh*
I shudder to think of what I have inspired, though.

But is it written as a complete story? or just in pieces?
And you could illustrate!
And then publish!!

It is in scattered fragments.
Especially since there are three stories.
Well, two, but the first one has a break in it.

Perhaps you might want to think about....arranging them into a cohesive piece, yes?
To: Darksheare
"I shudder to think of what I have inspired, though." From me? No way. I am like the coloring book that would be made of your black and white sketches.
.
Ewww! That didn't come out the way I wanted it to.

Been trying to do that, somewhat.
But the characters themselves interfere with the writing.
NNB could explain that better than I could, probably.

We could try working together.
The problem might be that each of us would want to skip the boring parts.
I find it difficult to do the in-betweens. But I can easily flesh out an intriguing framework.

the characters themselves interfere with the writing. Isn't it best (my creative writing course talking now), to write up character sketches, like, everything about a character....on a piece of paper (or however many it takes)....get them "out of your head" and onto paper....then just start writing the story....
To: Darksheare
I'd guess if your characters are interfering with the writing, then you're not telling
their story.
You have to remember to be the dispassionate, non-judgemental observer and recorder.
If you insist on trying to drive the story in a direction of your choosing, they will be balky and uncooperative.
