Good morning,
Ms Feather!
Thanks friend. Some home traction exercises were taught to me by family friend who is an MD and is helping me with avoiding the knife. Kind of stinks when your principal summer activities are motorcycling, guitar, and high-powered rifle competition.
Thanks. I tried acupuncture, but the relief was only temporary. As soon as the needles were removed, it was back to carrying the load of stones.
Best instructions, lay, stand or walk, do not sit. I take it your disk has popped out and pressing on your sciatic nerve? So painful. This summer you will have to change your general activities in order to get well and strong.
If you can avoid surgery that will be best. Good luck to you and be sure to stop around the Lair often!
Thanks again. Actually it is between c5 and c6. It feels like a dagger is permanently parked between my spine and right shoulder blade and my right arm feels like pins and needles, agony, or like it is on fire. Hell of a way to start summer vacation. BTW are you Native American?
What a cool visitor? Is she staying the weekend?
Nah, she left already, missed her family! LOL
I hate housework it's such a bore
Dusting and sweeping is such a chore
That pile of ironing I'll put out of sight
Perhaps I'll do it tomorrow night
Sink full of dishes and shopping to do
Put on the kettle let's have a brew
The dog to be walked and the kids to be fed
And all he does is lay in bed
Do the weeding, mow that grass
If only I was upper class
A cleaning lady I would get
Housework I could then forget
Until then I'll just have to cope
Put on the telly let's watch a soap
Do you have an open door policy?
Did Lady Jag pen this little piece?? Me thinks so, dang good, too!
Thank you, it is my style. I think it was written by Anonymous, though I definitely share the sentiments.
Is this a well-traveled cat?
I don’t know much about her, she lives on the corner and comes to visit me. She is a young cat, probably a year or so old.
Today my daughter stopped to visit for a while, we went to the back yard, and Fiona was out there, teasing a nasty squirrel. She followed us around to the back steps and wanted to come in. I said not this time Fiona. Well, as my daughter was leaving through the front door, Fiona made a bee line for my apt. I let her snoop around, then she got on the couch to look out the window, I figured she wanted out and let her out. She is very sweet.
Herriot wrote a book of cat stories and one was of an extremely sociable cat. It hung around his house for a while before he and his wife let it in and adopted it. Then the Herriots noticed the cat was gone at certain hours on specific days.
Turned out the cat had a schedule. Tuesday he went to the ladies quilting bee, Thursday was poker night, and so on. A Super story, people at all the places he went considered him their friends and would expect the cat to show up and brought food for him.
Sweet.
