So you are in fact calling the kid a sissy, which you previously denied, because somehow the 6th grader was supposed to fight against the teacher by himself. It is a big deal when someone in authority uses that power to humiliate those in their charge. Why should his parents be forced to pay teachers to humiliate their child. Don't you think they have a valid complaint?

He can work hard, stop being a goofball in school, and earn the respect of his peers and teachers.

Intimating that he did something to bring this down on himself...in effect suggesting that the person doing the bullying isn't really at fault.

Who else would have notified them?

Anyone. Why would you speculate and postulate to defend a bully? Why does the parents fighting back against the abuse of authority offend you so much?

You seem to want to put a lot of words into my mouth and I wonder why you feel like you need to read between the lines in order to pick a fight with me. I've already explained myself and my original comment, and think I have done so quite clearly.

I challenge you to read through my posts and find exactly where I specifically called the kid a sissy, a pansy, or anything of that nature, or anything at all.

I never said the parents do not have a valid complaint. They are however being overly dramatic and drawing attention to a situation that could have been QUIETLY RESOLVED without anyone beyond the school community knowing about it.
