Maybe, just maybe, some of us see past whether a person has money or not and judges the person by their actions.

Some may well do so..., indeed.

However, it doesn't seem to be the method of operation of certain officials and the public's "gladiatior mentality" where they love to see someone "getting it" -- especially where one has the benefits of certain things that they've felt deprived of. So, it's the public's chance to vicariously beat up on someone like that, while certain officials enjoy playing along with the public.

Let’s see. Paris Hilton.

1. Slut city.

Okay, well, "slut city" seems to be an appropriate moniker for the majority of the girls these days. It seems to fit well within our society and on TV and in everything that people do. Slut City, USA could be the address of a majority of the girls that come up through grade school, junior high, high school and college. All you have to do is think "Girls Gone Wild" for the milder aspects of it, with the more overt aspects not spoken about in polite company.

2. Thinks she is better than the “little people” because she has money.

Well, that certainly fits a lot of people. You can add in anything there. People are "seemingly" better than others because of job, education, money, car, house, family, social group, and you name it. Listen to people and you'll come up with a long list for that one.

3. Thinks the law does not apply to her.

And that certainly applies to a large group of people. That's for sure. These days it seems that laws don't apply to people unless they get caught, and then the real crime was getting caught, not the original violation. If you really talk to people about the many laws and rules and regulations that they violate on a daily basis, it all comes down to "it doesn't apply to me in this particular situation," or "it doesn't really matter very much," or a whole host of other reasons. This is a "national pastime" with our population...

4. Snotty all the way.

Yes, "humble" does seem to be a rare commodity, these days -- with a large majority of our population -- especially when our society is teaching everyone to think about themselves, primarily, over everyone else. You are to enhance everything about yourself, at the expense of everyone else, because you're the one who counts the most, over and above everyone else. Self-esteem is the primary currency in this one. You certainly can't let anyone else step all over one's self-esteem and how "you" (as it applies to each person) are the most important person in the picture.

Plenty to hate there and nothing to do with her having money. It’s people like you that are all concerned about class warfare and money. Most of us don’t care.

Yes, plenty to hate there, for sure, since we, as a society have built that into everyone as a set of goals to achieve for everyone of us. Paris Hilton ends up being the poster girl for how our society wants to "raise us" to be.

But, since there's no point in "hating ourselves" (works against self-esteem, doncha know...), society will pick on a "celebrity status figure" to vent their abhorrence of what they've each, individually become, in and of themselves.

My opinion? You are a pot trying to call a piece of china “black”.

My opinion? Well, very simply that society has come to the point of self-loathing, and certain celebrity figures make good lightning rods for the vapid nature of the public in their own vapid lives, instead of focusing in on themselves.
