A "screaming" Paris Hilton has been dragged off to serve her full 45 days in jail. Reportedly screamed and called to her mother as she was taken away. More.
Thanks for the common sense statement..what everyone also fails to recognize, is that if she kept on drinking, doing drugs, and driving..whether or not she had a license..she was inevitably going to hit someone, cause serious injury, even death..then she’d be measuring her jail time in years, not days..The police dept staged a de facto intervention of sorts for her, something her parent should have done long ago..
I think you are right about her knowing it would only be for 3 days. I noticed that she was way to calm turning herself in considering how much of fight she orignally put up. I guess the sheriff got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, but he thought because he did the deed in the middle of the night no one would notice! Ha! Did he get a shock!
> To me, it seems like the judge is just a little obsessed with this case. Does he always take such an interest in parole violators? Does he always make decisions based on what he hears on the radio? Does he always issue sua sponte orders for released prisoners to appear before him?
The judge *has* been made to look foolish in front of the entire world by having this celebrity throw a hissy-fit and get out of Gaol free (you don’t imagine for a minute she’d respect her house arrest, anymore than she respected her other sentences ay).
Judges looking foolish is a Bad Thing, and that’s probably a good reason for this Judge to get “obsessed” over this particular parole violator.
I say good on him.
LOL!!!!
Press conference on right now!

I've seriously wondered if her "medical condition" had something to do with her mental capabilities. From the snippets I've seen, she seems to talk and act like a 14-year-old.
Boy are we in trouble the day when a two-teard justice system is justified and those who protest are considered to be suffering from class envy. Do you know how much I could justify by accusing others of class envy? You have got to let go of the “might makes right club”, it’s not going to get you any special passes in life, although I know you would like to believe that it will.
I am going to ask a question I’ve wanted to pose here for months...has anyone here actually ever seen the Paris porn tape?...what’s the consensus..can she “act?”
If you don’t want to admit it publicy, use Freepmail..
This case has nothing to do with the case of the preacher’s wife, that is a different state and she was convicted of man-slaughter. Light sentences can result from that kind of a verdict. There were children invovled, sometimes women do get away with murder if they say they were abused, this is nothing new, so I don’t think people should be making any comparisions.
Look up the word, "judge."
After watching Baca, I’m dang glad I don’t live in, work in, and/or ever plan to visit LA County.
OMG! Now Baca just came on MSNBC , and is saying Paris has SEVERE MEDICAL PROBLEMS! Is he gonna let her out again?!
She has no reason to grow up. In fact, she's making a killing by not growing up.
This won't hurt her career, and will probably will help it. Eventually her looks won't help her, and she'll just have to rely on being stupid as a shtick. She's got the qualifications for that.
I got the impression she’ll be doing her time in a hospital-type room instead of a jail cell. If so, wonder if all ailing inmates have that option.
Did anyone see Shepard Smith’s coverage of this story? HILARIOUS!
Sorry. We had Kitty Laz neutered. ;-)
That's a form of "preferential treatment" I honestly don't have a problem with. Having a high profile inmate in the general population, a high-profile target, puts not just the target but the staff at risk. As long as the physical conditions, diet etc. are comparable in the isolation unit. Not giving her a cellmate, I'm not so certain about.
But even if she were in gen pop, i think she'd have been pretty physically safe. And probably in better shape psychologically, because she lives on attention.
