LET'S ROLL!!!
Good morning. Again, apologies for dropping this on everyone. I really need a break.
Chairman, thank you for all you have done. You have kept this place a wonderful start to the day for so many years.
I understand and appreciate what you have done for all of us. With what I have been going through, I have also dropped the ball as well, but my son’s welfare and our survival of this divorce are paramount.
After starting the Tony Snow Show thread and keeping it going for about 4 months or so, I can attest to the committment and responsibility that a daily thread requires.
You have provided us such a wonderful place for so long Chairman, and I thank you. I fully understand your changing priorities and believe you are doing the right thing.
I’d like to see the thread continue, it will be difficult for me to commit to helping with posting it while we are traveling. I look forward to seeing the consensus of the ATRW members.
I met my first FR friends here on ATRW. Someone here directed me to the “war thread” where I met other friends. Baseballmom was the very first FReeper I was in contact when I found this Forum on an search looking for info on the Glenn Beck Rally for America in Valley Forge in 2003. I consider her still my friend.
Busy day & I will be planting between the raindrops earlier.
I think a great deal of most of the people here at ATRW & it is so regrettable the craziness that has infected the great forum & it is my prayer that things will eventually return to a gentler & better home away from home. If they don’t there are many losers in the process
I lurk a lot & will drop in now & then here if someone picks up on the chair’s bandwagon. The other daily news & friendship thread is where I am mostly hanging for now
chair .. here is my parting “gifts” for you from me(sorry, heavy politics has NEVER been my strong point - graphics are)
Sorry I cannot find my collection of toilet paper graphics that are saved on my server SOMEWHERE that were "yours"
>>I’m just burned out.
You aren’t paying enough taxes.
I just wanted to ad my deep felt thanks to you for all your years of dedication to this thread.
In years past, my friends here at ATRW encouraged me back to health after a serious surgery. I felt their prayers for strength and healing as I struggled back to the ‘real world’. It was YOU who provided a forum for them to encourage me.
Likewise, I’ve taken many a turn in praying others back to health. It was YOU who provided the forum, which in turn developed the freindships which made that all possible.
You have unselfishly donated hundreds of hours to this thread. Thank You is hardly the word to express appreciation for all that time.
But Thank You is the only would in our language to do so. Wishing you leisurely mornings with time to visit ‘your thread’.
Thank You.
Good, glad you are staying....We've had enough of those Opuses around here (FR) or whatever they call them.....
:-)
Thanks for starting the thread almost every day and for sharing all your knowledge with us!
Welcome to the backbench!
Chair....:::applauding::
You did a fantastic job!
Thank you!
This thread started my day in the FR way!
I am reading a book called “The 4hour work week”,
in there he writes that to have a productive day to enjoy other things in life we must do things that are not time wasters.
I work from home and love to stop by in the morning to say Hi to all here, but than I found myself spending way to much productive time in the morning on forums, reading emails etc.
I too need to spend productive morning time getting my work done first to have quality time later on to enjoy other pursuits.
See you somewhere on the boards.......
Thank you very much for all you've done. Seven years is a long time.
IMO, you are a patriot. I have said this to about four people in my life, and I will say it now...even though you're a Squid...
I would consider it an honor to share a foxhole with you. IMO, we would come out of it in one piece.
Take care my FRiend.

Chair, thank you for the wonderful years you have put into ATRW. Your openings have been inspirational, erudite and on target. Hopefully, in your “retirement” you will have time to bless us with your continued analysis of all things government.
Jemian, I hope to see you when you return home.
Thank you so much.
