No one there seemed to know where the film had come from, but almost all believed that the event it depicted had taken place earlier that year, in the sandy expanses of southern New Mexico’s White Sands Missile Range.

That’s gonna leave a mark.
Maybe the Govt. got one of the captured alien spacecraft working, and took it out for a joyride (which would explain the puposeful filming) and -kablooey

Hmmmm.... an "Unidentified Flying Object" that lands/crashes at White Sands Missile Range, and no one has put together the theory that maybe it was a test of a missile or a jet?

Pictures of UFO’s are worthless, since modern computer technology has made it possible to ‘create’ just about any pic whatsoever. Having said that, it might be worth adding that answers are long overdue on the UFO issue. Lots of witnesses who are not liars deserve answers.
