You’d confirm for him that he was being confined and indoctrinated by the enemy. You’d tell him that in a covert operation you had broken the enemy’s strength and enabled him to escape. You’d tell him how to resist effectively, and how to get away. You might include stories of others in your position who had heroically resisted the enemy. You might provide specific procedures for attach, concealment, defense, escape, and evasion. And you’d tell him you love him, and look forward to him coming home.
