My two cents...it's not a matter of who will win, but how bad Hoya will lose. But Oscar is a true champion who has surprised me before.
Two great guys with a lot of talent.

I'm not paying all that money to see a fight I can watch on HBO in a week or two
That said, Mayweather should win (Based on my vast boxing knowledge ;-D)
Of course many a boxer that should win doesn't always show up on fight night.

Odds are of course heavily in favor of Mayweather, but I don’t think they are taking into account that Mayweather has ever really taken any good shots like De La HOya can deliver. I’m not saying De La Hoya will win, but that perhaps the true probabilty of him winning is greater than the current odds.

You see the weigh-in? De la Hoya looks like he's in the best shape of his life. I've never seen him looking that ripped.
Abs popping out all over the place. That, together with his pre-fight preparation and training with Sugar Shane Mosley, and this could be a disaster for Mayweather.
Mayweather's a runner. He runs from fighters in the ring and out of the ring, and I don't think he's ever faced someone who can punch like de la Hoya. And having moved up in weight class again, it's going to be tougher for him than everyone thinks. PBFloyd's counting on getting in the ring with an old guy past his prime, but he may be in for quite a surprise. I'm guessing De La Hoya in 7.
Arghhh! Just checked that link and it's bogged down. Keep trying.
To: Vision
Mayweather, not known as a knockout puncher, is stepping up in weight and wont have the power to hurt DeLaHoya. The Golden Boy, will hit Floyd like he’s never been hit before. DeLayHoya to win by early knockout.

Oscar... 7th round TKO. or Mayweather decision if it goes past seven.

Here it is.... first, let me get my bias out front, I used to work for de La Hoya, he is a friend, and very good man.
Having said that, both fighter are great boxers (not brawlers) but Oscar is smarter and much more experienced. Mayweather is faster and knows more about de La Hoya than anybody who has ever been in the ring. I predict it goes the distance and is de La Hoya by split decision...the only real question is "will there be a re-match" and I would say no, Oscar is done, he goes out on top and makes a ton of money promoting.

$55.00 with a
very weak televised undercard. (Only 2 fights; one a title elimination bout; the other a regional title..........whatever that is.)
I'll wait a couple of weeks to watch it while I'm sitting on the 55 bucks that is still in my wallet.
To: Vision
For most sports you can go to ESPN (or many other places) to get the play-by-play in almost real time.
Is there anyplace on the web that is doing that for this fight?
Is ESPN radio going to cover it indirectly by having someone report in every few minutes?
