Great flurry and exciting end with a big flourish of trades at the end.
Don’t think it’s enough for Oscar. He did great though.

Charles Barkley just said it was a draw.

this fight is already over, de La Hoya has already won...mayweather has lost all initiative You sticking by that prediction?
To: Vision
DeLaHoya started out so well, but I guess in the end he just wasn’t quick enough.

While Mayweather won...I never expected Hoya to have the presence he had. To me Hoya looked like he dominated. Am I wrong?

Mayweather fought very well and showed why he’s so difficult to deal with.
Would have been interesting if Oscar faced him a few years back.
Floyd is very strong with tremendous skills. Oscar showed the will of a champion and kept coming and actually had the only punch that made impact. He had a right that shook Floyd up. If it had come earlier in the round it would have been interesting.
A split decision that was not really accurate overall. Oscar was coming over the top very effectively and his jab was moving Floyd backwards. For some reason, Oscar didn’t continue with the jab that was pushing Mayweather off his gameplan.

I’d say you’re wrong, but I think I was watching a different fight then the judges!

De La Hoya was amazing, the whole fight. If they knew how he was going to fight, no way would they have put the odds so far against him. He really worked this fight.
Unbelievable, even though he lost! Mayweather says he's retiring.

Mayweather is saying he’s retiring. I would not say Oscar dominated. He fought with intention to win throughout though.

Listen to those classless jerks (the Mayweathers). Mayweather is what is wrong with boxing and with professional sports in general.
