Every person in the U.S. is protected by the Constitution. That is why the word people was used rather than the word “citizen.”
This is why when illegal aliens are arrested they are read their Miranda Rights.
For the very same reason, cops cannot just go and kick in the doors or illegal aliens without a Search Warrant as specified in the 4th Amendment.
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
So would these rights then be transfered to an invading army?
so then if they are assembling couldnt they be asked for their ids? and if found here illegally appropriate action could be taken?
