You certainly must have a fascinating set of sites bookmarked. I often marvel at the great references you come up with!
“That peace deal is the infamous Waziristan Accord, which the Pakistani government ceded control of North Waziristan to the Taliban and al Qaeda.”

Hmmmm... Begs the question: Why we don’t simply, and immediately, “declare war” on North Waziristan? Such an action would have Hitlery’s support, according to statements she’s made about where she agrees and disagrees with President Bush... Certainly a few other Demodogs would go along with her, since we know she’s so influential in the Demodog party (/sarc)
“In the summer of last year, an American military intelligence source informed us there were 22 al Qaeda camps int eh tribal areas. The number is only growing.”

There certainly seems to be sufficient target here.
If I were dictator, I would get together a sufficient force to attack there in force on air, and ground - smack them down hard and ruthlessly for a few days or a week or so (let the commander decide), doing maximum damage to everything above and below the ground - and then withdraw and let them do whatever they like with the resulting devastation. MAKING CLEAR that we’re prepared to do the same trick whenever we deem it necessary.
It’s done in moderation, of course!

Oh, of course.
Raven! You’ve lost your tag line! LOL
The unanimous aspect was amazing. Sad when we are surprised that our courts actually do the right thing. But I’m happy on this one too.
Good morning everybody. We are on the road. We worked ourselves hard yesterday to get loaded and ready. Our dear conservative friends here in our neighborhood were so kind and invited us to dinner last night. We sure appreciated it as I believe we’d have been too pooped to even go great a burger. Plus we enjoyed a political discussion during dinner, lots of fun.
Hope everybody has a great weekend.
Thanks for sharing - that was well-made.
LOLOLOL
Read up on the history of that region and you will have the reason why people don't try it.
AF...think the WILD WEST to the extreme set in a back drop of mountains that tower 10,000 ft and above.
It was done in moderation, of course!
I’ll join the 2b) chorus. It’s much easier for any kid to start new when everyone else does, and the groups/cliques aren’t established. They have a way of gravitating toward their own kind no matter where they are.
So many parents have probably made that choice, it might explain why the Catholic school can’t go through 8th grade some years.
