Alton Brown is also the smartest of the bunch, IMO. He knows the reasons behind the techniques, and tells you what they are, as well as being entertaining.

A soggy day, here ... the ground is ... spongy which simply can not be good.
Here is a wee gardening tip ... if you are digging a hole for planting the soil just will not cooperate for it is so heavy and wet .... dig it and leave it be for a bit to dry out.
'Tis easy to over work soil, thus creating an environment where air bubbles can form around the roots of the newly planted shrub/tree once the soil begins to dry ... these bubbles compromise the root system and can kill the plant. ACK!

She’s definitely eye-candy, but the way she talks kinda turns me off. When I speak to you or Mozie, or anybody else, I believe I’m talking to an equal human.
Sandra Lee always strikes me as one who’s in the mindset that she’s talking to some bum from the curb. She talks down to her audience, reminiscent of a junior Senator from New York. This is not only condescending, but insulting. I’m not the first one who’s noticed this little flaw in her presentation...
