I think we need an official MLB playoffs thread. We have a good sized Sox list but I know that there are other baseball fans out there (even the Yankee types) that follow the game and have been copied here based on other baseball threads they have posted on.

It’s hard to do a game ping for all the games but with one active thread going we can surely keep a lively discussion for a few weeks.

I propose a Pennant Race thread for the rest of September, a Race to the Series thread (for the ALDS/NLDS/ALCS/NLCS era) and of course a World Series thread, one after another, for as long as they get. The most important two factors for success are (a) an appropriate pinglist to get it started and (b) that each participant ping more folks as appropriate along the way.
