Did you see Mark Levin’s expert opinion that Kennedy was pretty much begging someone to bring a case with a non-life-threatening HEALTH issue so he could overturn the law on that point.
I wonder if Rudy read that before he chose to say kind things about the court finding constitutional a law that he said he didn’t support.
I would note that agreeing with the court that a law is constitutional is not the same as supporting the law. In all the statements Rudy made about supporting partial birth abortion and opposing the law, he never said he opposed the law because he thought it was unconstitutional — he opposed the law because he thought partial birth abortion SHOULD be legal, as a matter of good public policy.
Rudy didn't create the procedure. Has anyone said this?
He's a politician whose position on PBA has flipped during an election. That makes his "new viewpoint" suspect, as it should be. We tore Kerry apart for being a flip-flopper. The same should be done to all candidates who do so during an election.
