No but they killed it. I used to skip school and take the bus to the zoo on Mondays. There was a big pond. I would buy a cheap burger and sit and read or watch the the ducks, all for free.

I went back last year. I had to pay to park and pay to get in and prices were horrible. The rides were gone too.

On Fridays I skipped school and took the subway to Leonards. I would get a piece of pizza and buy a book or walk to the library. Old Fort Worth used to be my playground:”)
