TANDY SUBWAY CLOSING: The Fort Worth trolley subway service will end with the final runs on Friday, August 30th at about 7 PM.
This line was built to connect a large parking lot with the Leonard Brothers Department store in downtown Fort Worth. The store previously operated a bus shuttle from the lot. The line operates on exclusive right of way thru the parking lot and then thru a double track tunnel to downtown.
They closed the subway? First the clock. Then the zoo. Now this. What’s next? Cowtown?
