The ***OFFICIAL*** Weekend Singles' Thread - (April 13th - 15th)
April 13, 2007 | DollyCali

Posted on 04/13/2007 5:53:23 PM PDT by DollyCali

How do these words/phrases grab you ? Any first hand experiences to share?

Love (lust?) at first Sight..

Forgiveness..

Lets just be friends..

Soul mates..

Friday the Thirteenth

Hi there Freeper Friends & TGIF! . Little hectic (understatement) on the home front.. I thought originally I would post tonight the thread I had for 4 weeks ago when my computer decided to go on vacation BUT it needed a lot of work & I had a full/crazy day & needed to go to funeral parlor this evening so just thought I would open up the conversation with some phrases that can be good, painful, wonderful or agonizing to singles or married folks as well. ..

All of these have caused some turmoil in my life & I have found that at any age these things can titillate your soul.

FRAPPR SINGLES LOCATOR (this is a Google project)

It has changed format a bit. If you want to add yourself I must okay. We had a lot of CREEPS.. hot FReepers try to join initially & it was a mess getting rid of them. I encourage you to use your screen name so we know who is who. If you chose another name, LIKE YOUR REAL NAME, let me know via FReepmail.

were you originally going to be meeting Mr “lets end it now” in Michigan?

I like it actually.. well, I haven’t been into city but was at the outdoor theater.. something like a utility name... 4 years ago & did some biking & kayaking on the metro parks etc.. I liked the suburbs & cant comment on city as never got there in the couple days in area.

I was there for a Mannheim Steamroller concert. Followed him around the country with his tour to promote the Eternity CD./DVD he was releasing. Fresh Aire Eight

hahaha

she is rattling your cage FRiend.

but it is nice to be a shoulder to cry on & to have one to cry on as the occasion arises. I am very thankful for my FReeper friends in NE Ohio that I feel comfortable enough to get together & share misc ‘whatevers’ if/when I need to do so.

We are all ages, occupations & interests but do share a camaraderie that is great

Now, Dolly, don’t get high-tech on me...and all that adult content stuff...? lol

You may add my location if you like...do you just need to give your general locale and that’s it?

If so, I am in the Jacksonville, Fl area. That is close enough to work it out for a get-together if someone ends up in my general area.

It would be fun to meet any of our *Singles* thread posters...

I know...

Sometimes it is wiser (or even just more funny) to play along...

Hi Tonmmy. I was at the dedication of the WW2 Honor Flights facility on Wednesday. Free flights/whole trip free to DC to see the WW2 monument. Here is the link.. I believe you can download the application & either send it or fax it in.

They had registration on line but it was really getting messed up apparently.

All.. if you have dads, granddads, etc who served in WW2 PLEASE let them or their kids know about this. It is an amazing program.

Yeah, Dolly, it’s all those seies *whatevers* that require a little TLC from those you share with regularly...and I appreciate their kindnesses.

Even if it’s just a willingness to listen...

you just put your location on the map & how much you fill out on the page & what pix you add is up to you. It may have chaged a bit. It was quite a while ago I started it & added my info.

I got this from The Raven at ATRW. He started this idea there & quite a few of us signed up. He maybe needs to post it again.

Oh you are in Jax area? I lived in Neptune Beach many years ago. My hubby was on a carrier out of Mayport. I loved that area. St.Augustine.. so neat. Did a lot of kayaking in the Intercoastal wateraway

Yes, the meeting was to take place in Detroit...

I have been to Detroit, but not for years and years. I use to fly in and out regularly but never saw much of the city.

I think that Detroit has undergone something of a rennaisance since then and may be a pretty cool place to visit now.

you have to register & add yourself. Do you have gmail? It is google mail. I really like it. I dropped AOL when I got DSL.. could nhot swing the $$$ for both.

I disliked the Adephia mail that was provided. It was slower than my modem w./aol & very lacking in programs & next to NO storage for emails. Google has 2800 MB storage

At one time GMail was a beta program & you could only get it from another GMail user. If anyone here wants it & that is the case, you can FReepmail me your current email addy & I will send you the invite.

It is good to have a second one for back up & one that you can easily access from anywhere in country

I haven’t done it, but I think that kayaking, in this area, is even more popular now than when you last lived here...

It is a wonderful place to live. Soon my son will likely move on as he graduates from college in 3 weeks... I won’t have any particular reason to stay on here but nowhere else I’d rather be either...(certainly NOT Detroit—or Wisconsin, for that matter[too dang cold!]—lol!)

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!

add cleveland to that list.

I miss the south/ocean big time & would not be here if not taking care of my mom.

How is Duncan doing?

Cali is doing pretty well..

Think I might leave for a bit. The thread seems to do a whole lot better when I am not at it!
