LOL what a hoot. ;) I like cactus a lot, but do not own any for the house. The blooms are gorgeous.

The rule that applies for growing cactus in colder weather is to bring them inside in the winter. Do not water until you hear there is rain in Phoenix.

But they don't bloom as well. They need really acidic soil and be dry as a bone for months at a time. Weird gardening. First time in my life growing cacti.
