Lizard, I'm just finishing up having 4 implants, and was suppose to go today and have the last permanent tooth put on the implant, but was unable to go. Have been under the weather with bronchitis for several days so didn't feel like getting out. When I was having the implants put in, the periodonist told me to have a milkshake waiting when I got home. When my husband came to get me, he brought me a Wendy's Frosty! Don't have too much memory of drinking it as the anesthetic hadn't worn off. I was given pain meds, but I'm fortunate to have a high tolerance for pain. A friend was having the same work done, and knowing she was very particular about what she ate, I asked what kind of milkshake she had when she got home. She didn't....she had a SlimFast and bowl of jello. Don't know why I didn't think of that! I would probably had the Frosty anyway since I'm not too discipined when it comes to my diet.

Good luck tomorrow and you'll need some type of nourishment to keep your strength up. I got along fine, and the most discomfort I had was having to have a bone graft, and that wasn't too bad. The hardest part was parting with all that money, and I don't have dental insurance!
