One thing I will say is that imo, this election could be the most important one in a couple of hundred years. Our country is facing big problems. If the wrong person gets elected, America as we know it may cease to exist.
Please don’t think I’m wearing my tinfoil too tight ;-) There is just too much treachery going on to ignore, imo. Pelosi cutting backroom deals with our enemies? Clinton is running for president? A green horn named Obama actually being given some serious consideration about his suitability as president? Edwards, Kerry, and Algore? Disasters! I still won’t count them 100% unelectible. Lots of stupid DUer’s, tree huggers, and Hollyweird types out there.
We do have some talent running for president on the Republican side. I’m glad that Duncan Hunter is speaking out; I’m liking him more and more. Ditto Fred Thompson(sh*t or get off the pot, bud.) I like Tancredo, and yes...I like Rudy. It’s a long way until the primaries, and an even longer time until the election is held in 2008. Right now, I’m biding my time, gathering input from my fellow FReepers, family, and friends.
God help us if we make a mistake. Having said that, whoever has the ‘R’ behind his name is the man I will vote for. Please God don’t let it be McCain :(
IMO we are blessed to have all the current men running for the nomination. (it could be worse)
The debate will be awesome, (except for Chrissy), I will be muting him!
But right now, I am so fed up with the Demonrats in Congress, with Reid, Pelosi, Murtha, et all. They are totaly TRAITORS!
Don't you all know illegal money will be pouring in to support whoever is the Dem candidate for Prez???? Just like the Chinese money flooded into the Clinton party coffers! Totally and 100% illegal but it will get in here. Our enemies will truly be "in the gate" at that time, should the worst happen and a Dem becomes President.....and if MONEY could buy an election, we will for sure see that result in 2008 - both in Congress and in the Presidency.
We frankly need the wealthy Repubs, we need the principled conservatives (who may or may not be wealthy) we are ALL needed to stop the Demonrat juggernaut that will destroy our nation. I'm selfish. I like freedom. I want to continue to live and breathe freely. I want today's children and grandchildren to do the same. I am very very concerned none of us will see freedom continue in this nation much longer. We must have a leader who understands and cherishes freedom - human freedom. President Bush, and many hate him, but, he constantly constantly speaks eloquently about his love for freedom for all humankind.....(*yes I wish we could have somehow acted to bring freedom to MORE of the world's slaves such as in N. Korea or in Cuba.....but that's another subject).
We will be like Cuba. We will be like the old Soviet Union. We will be like North Korea if we don't stop the treacherous, globaloney spouting destroyers who are this close to taking full power in our country.
Whatever course we must take, this must not happen.
